Adobe Acrobat (*.pdf) documents are less than half the size of Word documents, so they can be downloaded much faster. To use them, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed on your computer. This software is available at no charge from Adobe

Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® is free software that lets you view and print Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files on all major computer platforms. If you have purchased your computer recently, this plugin is probably already installed. If it is not installed, the first time you click on a link in PDF, you will be prompted to download this free program.

If you want to save a PDF file your computer, go to the site map and right click on the file name. Your browser should then give you the option of saving the file.

Sometimes, if the file is large, there will be a lag time (a minute or more) before anything appears on your screen. If you are totally unable to access the PDF files, send an e-mail describing your difficulties and we will attempt to assist you.

If you have problems viewing these files within your browser,
we recommend the following:

PC Users:

To download a PDF file to your hard drive: Using Internet Explorer, right-click on the link and select "Save Target As." Save the file where it is easily accessible (i.e., your desktop), and open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Netscape Navigator will give you a choice of opening it with Adobe Acrobat Reader or saving the file to disk (i.e., your desktop).

Macintosh Users:
To download a PDF file to your hard drive, Option-Click on the appropriate link and save the file where it is easily accessible (i.e., your desktop), and open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
