Senior, Ryleigh Cook, is our February James Huffman Responsible Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Charles and Jennifer Cook of Franklin. Ryleigh spends her time riding horses, with friends and raising animals for the Tri-County Fair. She is on the A/B Honor Roll, secretary for the Class of 2023, FFA, and NHS. For the past eight years, she has been a member of a 4-H Club. While in high school she has been a member of the Pendleton County FFA Chapter, where she earned the Greenhand and Chapter Degrees. Ryleigh plans to attend WVU to major in animal science, with hopes of becoming a vet tech.
Senior, Joclyne Souza, is our February Academic Students of the Month. The daughter of Jeremiah and Saprina Berkstresser of Franklin. Joclyne is a member of Upward Bound, NHS, Student Council, Pep Club, 4-H Club, and attends Living Faith Church. She will be in the WVU Honors Program in the fall and plans to study aerospace engineering.
Seventh Grade Student, Travis Owens, is our February Student of the Month. He is the son of Josh and Krista Owens of Brandywine. This year, Travis has been a member of the Middle School Football, Basketball and Baseball Teams. Travis loves playing basketball and going to the movies. After high school Travis would like to work as a professional athlete.
