On Tuesday, June 11 the Pendleton County School Board held the Annual Retirement/Personnel Dinner and Awards Ceremony at the South Fork Ruritan Building. The 2023-2024 Pendleton County Teacher of the Year was named, Mrs. Amy Rexrode (FES) and the 2023-2024 Pendleton County Service Personnel of the Year was named, Mr. Jimmy Waybright (Transportation).
Teachers of the Year and Service Personnel of the Year were also recognized from all locations.

As the evening came to a close the winner of the Attendance Cup was announced. The school with the highest attendance for the 2023-2024 school year was Franklin Elementary School.
