Tomorrow, Friday, December 6th, Pendleton County Schools will be operating on a 3-hour delay.

Tomorrow is the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in D.C. What makes this year special? Pendleton Country Middle/High School will represent the West Virginia tree! The students below will have ornaments placed on the tree this year. Congrats Wildcats on your creativity!

In hopes of a second match for the Lady Wildcats, a pep bus is being arranged to leave at noon on Monday. A decision will be made by 10:30 Monday morning pending a second match, available chaperones, and enough interest by students.

Please join the send off for our Lady Wildcats Sunday at 11:30 a.m. from the high school as they head to Charleston for the State Volleyball Tournament.
A pep bus will leave the school Monday at 1:30 pm if the team advances; a signed permission form is required.

The play-off football game with Meadow Bridge has been postponed to Saturday at 1:30 p.m. The gates will open at noon, and the Commons will be available to stay warm.

To start off the month of November, Art 1 learned about the Mexican Day of the Dead holiday and created sugar skull inspired masks. Art 2-4 worked hard on Winter/Holiday themed art to be displayed in the Pill Box window on Mainstreet for the season.

Interims were sent home today.
Varsity boys basketball tryouts are Monday, Nov. 18th at 3:30.
Wrestling meeting Monday, Nov. 18th at 6 pm for wrestlers, parents, and mat maids.

Due to ongoing litigation, the WVSSAC football playoffs for all four classes have been postponed. The playoffs will begin after the litigation has been resolved.

It's been a busy month in the PCHS Art Department. Art 1 learned about Medieval illuminated letters and made modern versions of their own. Art 2 studied macro photographs and painted "zoomed in" compositions. Finally Advanced Art tried woodburning and did a phenomenal job.
