Good Evening, this is Charles Hedrick, with an important message from Pendleton County Schools. Due to the rise of active Covid-19 cases in our schools, this Friday, November 19th, will be a remote learning day for our students. Faculty and Staff will report at their normally scheduled time. This will be one of our summer saver days.

Reminder: The Healthy Grandfamilies Program will hold their first meeting tomorrow, Thursday Nov. 18 at 6:00 pm at the Pendleton County Board of Education Annex.

It’s time for our annual Twelve Days of Christmas food drive! Food collection will begin on December 1 and continue through December 16. Last year Pendleton County Schools collected a total weight of 2094 pounds of food! Let’s try for even more this year!


The Healthy Grandfamilies Program will hold their first meeting on Thursday Nov. 18 at 6:00 pm at the Pendleton County Board of Education Annex. The program is open to all grandparents who are raising their grandchildren. Please call 304-358-7072 for more information or to let us know you are coming, so we know how many people to prepare for.

Attention: Middle School Boys Basketball Practice Information
Practice starts Monday Nov. 8th after school until 5:30 at PCMHS . Monday's practice will be for 6th and 7th grade only. Tuesday's practice will include 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students and will go from after school until 5:30. Please be sure to have your physical. Also shorts, gym shoes, and water required.

Just a reminder that the deadline for county rec league sports is November 8th.
