We would like to congratulate our FFA Chapter on their participation at the 95th Annual West Virginia FFA Convention this week, which was held at the Cedar Lakes Conference Center in Ripley, West Virginia.
We had members in the following contests; Parliamentary Procedure, Extemporaneous Public Speaking, and the Chapter Scrapbook Contests.
Parliamentary Procedure Team included: Kaylee Callison, Lydia Heavner, McKenna Hedrick, Gena Lambert, Alexandria Perry and MaKayla Tingler. Lydia Heavner participated in Extemporaneous Public Speaking.
The chapter won top awards in the Chapter Scrapbook Contest with Lydia Heavner, Chapter Reporter winning 1st place. The chapter was also recognized for their National Chapter Award. Past Chapter President, Selena Hedrick earned her State FFA Degree at the event.

Summer workouts for girls in upcoming 6-8th grades that might be interested in trying out for MS basketball next year are scheduled for next week. Workouts will be Monday, June 19 and Wednesday, June 21 from 6:30-8pm at PCHS gyms. Please bring water and wear gym shoes.

It's the last day of school, do I ride the bus, be dropped off, drive or better yet - take my tractor to school - what a way to end another school year in Pendleton County!


Pendleton County Middle High School Students and Staff ended the school year with a friendly softball game. The students may have pulled ahead on the score board, winning 6-2, but the stands were filled with sounds of cheering and laughter.
We would like to thank two PCMHS Alumni - Clayton Kisamore and Taylor Townsend - for assisting with our softball game. Clayton was the coach for the student team and Taylor officiated the game behind the plate.
We hope everyone has a safe and fun summer. See you in August!











Pendleton County Summer Success Academy 2023 Information:
• June 13-July 7 Tuesdays-Fridays (15 Total Days, No SSA on July 4th)
• Breakfast and Lunch will be provided each day
• 8:00am-2:00pm is the Daily Schedule
• Bus Transportation will be provided – Bus Drivers will be calling parents before SSA begins to discuss pick-up and drop-off
• June 20 - All students will ride bus to FES to celebrate WV Day
