
The volleyball state tournament has been postponed indefinitely due to circumstances beyond our control. We are very proud of our volleyball team and are eager to support them once the tournament is rescheduled. We will keep you posted.

It's been a busy month in the PCHS Art Department. I finally found time to post some student art. Art 1 learned about Medieval illuminated letters and made modern versions of their own. Art 2 studied macro photographs and painted "zoomed in" compositions. Finally Advanced Art tried woodburning and did a phenomenal job.

No tricks, just treats! Today, our 7th graders received ice cream floats in recognition of having the highest attendance rate (95%) at PCMHS for the month of October. Congratulations, 7th grade students!



Regional Game this coming Tuesday- Come out and Support our girls!


This Friday afternoon we will have a drill to practice locking down, barricading, and preparing to counter in the event that we would have an active shooter.

The Moorefield Yellow Jackets have challenged the Wildcats to a friendly attendance challenge for the month of November! Let's go, Wildcats, and let's win so we don't have to wear blue and gold!

School portraits will be taken Monday, October 28th for all students, grades 7-12 including homebound, virtual and in-person students. Make-up date is Dec. 10th.

If you have or know of a PCMHS student (grades 7-12) in need of receiving Christmas gifts this year due to financial hardships, please submit your request to Mrs. Lesley Cook at lesley.cook@k12.wv.us. Please do not duplicate requests if you have already submitted with another school or Angel Tree organization. All requests are due by November 8th.
